6 days of restoration

Slow down. Breathe. Come back to yourself.

There is something about an island that changes your sense of time.

For six days, we'll step away from the pace and noise of everyday life and settle into the slower rhythm of Gozo - moving, breathing, exploring, resting and connecting along the way.

Our home is Samudra Retreats, tucked away on the edge of Qala, surrounded by countryside and just a short walk from the sea. Here, traditional Gozitan farmhouses, ancient stone, open skies and the Mediterranean become part of the retreat itself.

The island is rural and unhurried, with a deep connection to nature, local food and the sea.

samudra

A place unlike anywhere else

Samudra is a small collection of traditional Gozitan farmhouses surrounded by nature, creating an intimate setting for slowing down and reconnecting.

At the heart of the retreat is the Shala - a space for yoga, meditation, breathwork and shared practices.

And beneath it lies something extraordinary:

A 4,000-year-old healing cave.

Carved into the rock beneath the Shala, this ancient space offers a unique setting for quiet reflection, meditation and special retreat experiences.

Meals are enjoyed together, giving us another opportunity to slow down, connect and share the experience of the week.
