Week 1

WEEKLY JOURNALING PROMPT

Find a quiet place for yourself and sit down. No music, no phone, no distractions - just you and your thoughts.

Take a few deep breaths in and out through your nose.
Inhale calmness, exhale tension. Repeat this for a minute as you focus on your breathing.

Now, grab your notebook and answer these questions honestly. Write everything down without overthinking:

  • What am I struggling with in life?
  • How long have I been in this situation?
  • Am I ready to live my life differently?
  • Would it be wrong to find some peace? Why do I feel guilty when I laugh or smile?
  • Why do I want to change my life?

For the first week, we will simply observe ourselves.
Pay attention to your thoughts, behaviors, and habits. Write everything down, but focus particularly on your inner dialogue and affirmations.

Take note of affirmations such as:

  • "I am not going to be happy anymore."
  • "I don’t deserve to find happiness."
  • "I am not allowed to laugh."
  • "I will never be happy again."

Write down every thought, without labeling them as good or bad. Just observe.

Remember: this is about healing, not judgment. Watch yourself with kindness and curiosity.

Week 2

WEEKLY JOURNALING PROMPT

In week 1 we began by writing down our thoughts and feelings, observing ourselves and how we engage with the world.

This week, we’re diving deeper into how we think about ourselves. Begin by writing down all the negative thoughts or beliefs you have about yourself. Be honest and thorough—it’s important to bring these thoughts to the surface.

Once you’ve written them all down:

  1. Place the paper in an envelope.
  2. Pray over the envelope, setting an intention to let go of these thoughts.
  3. Find a ritual that feels meaningful to you to release these words for good. This could be burning the envelope, tearing it up, or burying it—whatever symbolizes release and renewal for you.

Next Step:
Think about how you want to feel and who you want to be. Write these positive statements down, even if they don’t feel true yet—let them reflect the version of yourself you’re stepping into.
For example:

  • I am lovable.
  • I am open-hearted.
  • My life is full of possibilities.

Make multiple copies of these affirmations and place them where you’ll see them often: your mirror, desk, or even your phone wallpaper. Let these words guide your thoughts and actions every day.

Journaling Practice:
In your journal, begin a practice of transforming negative thoughts into positive affirmations. When a negative thought comes up, write it down and immediately follow it with a positive counterpart. For example:

  • Negative Thought: "I’m not good enough."
  • Positive Thought: "I am capable and worthy of success."

Affirmation Reminder:
Add these affirmations to your journal. Revisit them daily, absorb their meaning, and let them shape how you view yourself. Affirmations are powerful tools to keep you aligned with your journey of self-discovery and healing.

Week 3

WEEKLY JOURNALING PROMPT

This week, we’re revisiting what you wrote down in the first week. Take a moment to read through your journal entry. Notice the words you used, the emotions you expressed, and any patterns in your thoughts.

Now, be honest with yourself—are there any negative affirmations hiding in your writing? Any phrases where you doubted yourself, spoke harshly, or placed limits on your potential?

Your task this week is to rewrite those words with kindness, strength, and belief in yourself. Every negative thought must be transformed into a positive affirmation.

For example:
"I always get things wrong." → ✅ "I am learning and growing every day."
"I’ll never be good enough." → ✅ "I am worthy just as I am."
"I’m stuck." → ✅ "I am open to new possibilities."

Write down your new positive affirmations on sticky notes and post them everywhere—your mirror, your fridge, your workspace—anywhere you’ll see them daily. Let them become part of your surroundings, your thoughts, and your self-talk.

And most importantly, keep repeating them. Say them out loud, whisper them to yourself, write them again and again. The more you affirm your worth, the more your mind will believe it.

You are strong. You are capable. You are enough. 💛
